Shipping policy
Version 1
In effect since October 15, 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. The French version prevails.
1. Destination and carrier
We currently ship anywhere in Canada, and only in Canada, with Canada Post. No shipping is offered outside Canada. Availability, the total cost and the estimated delivery time for the order are shown before payment. Shipping is the Canada Post rate shown at checkout, taxes included; it is calculated from the address, the weight and the size of the parcel. No delivery is promised to an address not accepted at checkout.
2. Preparation and tracking
Each item is shipped directly by its seller. Once the order is confirmed, the seller prepares and then ships the item within the deadlines shown in the order, using a tracked Canada Post label generated by Vestimoi. The buyer receives a shipping notice and can track her parcel from My purchases. Transit time is the time estimated by Canada Post for the service chosen; public holidays and remote regions may lengthen it. If an order contains items from several sellers, each seller ships her own parcel. If the seller does not ship within the deadlines, the sale may be cancelled and the buyer refunded. Vestimoi remains the buyer's point of contact for delays, losses and delivery errors.
3. Address, parcel and delay
The buyer checks the address entered before payment and reports any error without delay. If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, she reports it from My purchases ("Report a delivery problem") within 72 hours of the recorded delivery, or contacts us at contact@vestimoi.com with her order number. We investigate with the carrier and apply the remedies provided by law; a "delivered" status in tracking does not by itself settle a dispute. If delivery does not take place within the time limits that give rise to the cancellation of a distance contract, the buyer may exercise that right as provided by law. Costs caused by an address error attributable to the buyer are charged only if they were announced and are permitted.
4. Home guidance for sellers
Home guidance is offered by appointment in the Capitale-Nationale region (Québec). A Vestimoi advisor can help the seller sort her pieces and prepare her listings. The items remain the seller's property, she ships them herself once sold, and the listings remain subject to review before publication. Any rates are shown in a quote accepted before the service.
